Call out for volunteers interested in helping with a community-based AI workshop for Durham and Community Affairs! Duke is looking for people to assist during a two-week program. Volunteers will only be needed for a three-hour shift, and can sign up here. The audience attending this workshop will be a diverse group of 15 highly-motivated middle students from the Durham Public Schools.
This FREE two-week workshop will be held from:
July 24-August 4, 2023
9 AM-5 PM in Perkins Library
This is a great opportunity to both help the community and learn more about AI. You will learn about some AI tools you’ve never experienced before!
Because of the age of the students, there will be a brief online training around working with minors and a background check.
