“Each piece in it’s place”
The value of community is best shown when it represented an organized collective. Brandon Johnson has designed a special communal piece for the DiversifyIT community to build together. Through the a fragmented mixed media composition style Brandon invented called “wallffiti,” Brandon is able to form a larger piece from individual pieces with our community participation.
This virtual session was held with Brandon where he tells us all about this medium and why it means so much to him (and you!).
Additionally, members of DiversifyIT helped paint pieces for a communal art piece arranged by Brandon, that will eventually be hung at the PowerHouse!
