Volunteer Request!
Come be part of the ‘Every Piece Has a Purpose’ Identity in Art workshop this February
Are you ready to show us what you got? Or do you need some help but would love to try?
Sign up! by sending an email to DiversifyIT-info@duke.edu before Friday, Feb. 18.
Please sign up, no matter your experience level. This piece will physically embody our collective will to work together toward diversity and inclusion in IT.
Supplies and special instruction will be provided, but space is limited so sign up now! Once we receive enough volunteers, you will be contacted about how to pickup the kit. The sooner we get 18 volunteers to sign up the quicker we can get started.
Our piece will be displayed in the lobby of the new Power House, home to the Office of Information Technology.
Even if you can’t volunteer, please join us to watch Brandon do a general demonstration of art form for all of the DiversifyIT community to see on Friday, Feb. 25 from 1-2:30 p.m. via Zoom. All are welcome for the demonstration. No registration is required, and you do not need to be a volunteer to attend the zoom event!
Thanks in advance for your response!
