Inclusion, equity and change begins with action.
After an Open Mic Series held during the summer of 2020, DiversifyIT requested feedback to determine the impact of this program. We learned how we can further of our campaign based on your feedback, outlined in the Living(IT) While Black: Feedback Report.
During the Open Mic series we also heard themes on what it’s like living while Black in IT and at Duke. The Living(IT) While Black: Action Plan provides next steps that any leader can take to begin changing behaviors and becoming more inclusive, to initiate equitable policies and practices and to change the experiences for the better in IT and at Duke.
