Workshop 6/16: How I fIT: Finding your genealogy source code

arm turning into tree with the text How I fIT

We know how much you enjoyed our April Brown Bag Lunch on Genealogy. There’s so much more to share!

Please join us Wednesday, June 16, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Our panelist, Alonzo Felder, will present, “How I fIT: Finding your genealogy source code.”

Alonzo Felder will take us deeper into understanding where we each come from, which is so critical to understanding our sense of identity and belonging.

As part of this session, participants will get a chance to workshop their own genealogy with consultants present to help answer questions. We intend to use the resources below as presented by Duke University Librarians, Lesley Looper, and Jacquie Samples. Audience participation is strongly encouraged to learn how you fit in history and IT.
