Implicit Bias Training – Summer 2016

The Office of Information Technology (OIT), in conjunction with the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) recently sponsored an Implicit Bias in the Workplace training for IT staff at Duke. The four sessions focused on what implicit (unconscious) biases are and how they impact our decisions, particularly in higher education settings.  Participants were offered strategies for the management of implicit bias in their work settings.  You can watch a session recording here:
